The other school district Wildridge encompasses includes Denton ISD, which includes four comprehensive high schools, eight middle schools, twenty-four elementary schools and even an advanced technology complex. Lowell H. Strike Middle School elevates the student body to strive for excellence both in the classroom and on the field. While Strike Middle School’s athletic teams’ grit and athletic prowess are undeniable, the athletic program is primarily focused on the personal growth of students. With the same drive used to dominate in the court or on the field, the Strike Athletic department fosters a culture of academic excellence. Jerry R. Walker Middle School

Join our pack! We can’t wait to unveil Jerry R. Walker Middle School, named for Detective Jerry R. Walker, a community hero who bravely gave his life in the line of duty. Modeled in the spirit of Detective Walker, who served as a school resource officer at Little Elm High School for several years, our new school will promote community, dedication and service. Scheduled to be completed for the 2020-2021 school year, this 1,200 student campus will be a bright addition to the Little Elm ISD family.

Rodriguez Middle School

Rodriguez Middle School aims to reduce the educational gap in our youth. They accomplish this by motivating their student body to participate in the full cadre of extra-curricular activities, as well as academically challenging them to strive for excellence in any future endeavors. Their 176,100 square-foot state-of-the-art campus features 42 classrooms enclosed by open-concept learning spaces for collaboration and educational use. Additionally, the main building is reinforced by more than 300 geothermal wells and a self-sufficient retention pond that will enable Rodriquez Middle School to be energy efficient for years to come.
