Wildridge Announces New Lifestyle Director

DALLAS – August 21, 2019 – Wildridge, a premier master-planned community in Oak Point in north Dallas, developed by Ashlar Development, is excited to announce Torey Schmorr as Lifestyle Director for the booming community.

In this role, Schmorr will plan events to build relationships between neighbors, solicit event partnerships, design new ways to serve residents’ interests, maintain a sense of community pride, and contribute to further community growth. She will plan 7-9 community events each month based on resident input, including outdoor movie screenings, floating yoga on the lake, fishing tournaments, fitness classes, summer games and more.

Schmorr, a native Floridian, earned her bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from St. Petersburg College. She holds a certification to teach in elementary education from kindergarten to the sixth grade, has ten years of experience in recreation and previously worked as an elementary school teacher, before joining the Wildridge team.

“My goal for Wildridge is to provide a pleasant living environment while creating kinship amongst the community,” said Schmorr. “I plan on growing the community through fun, active events that encourage residents to go outside and enjoy the benefits of living by Lake Lewisville”.

Schmorr enjoys the open space of Wildridge’s lake and lawn area and plans on encouraging residents to take advantage of these amenities with engaging outdoor activities, such as yoga on the lake, movies by the lakefront, potluck dinners and more.
