Tranquil amenity opens to residents featuring 3.5-acre fishing pond, covered pavilion and cozy seating

DALLAS (Aug. 3, 2021) Wildridge, a master planned community tucked away on the quiet peninsula of Lake Lewisville, is excited to announce the grand opening of a new amenity for residents – The Hideaway.

“Our newest outdoor amenity addition has already been welcomed by our Wildridge community,” states Royce Brooks, Senior Marketing Manager, Wildridge. “From the relaxing outdoor venue to the sense of adventure, the Hideaway has a unique way of bringing the two together seamlessly. The Hideaway truly is, and will be, perfect for year-round staycations and mini-escapes in our very own community.”

Wildridge’s newest amenity featuring a 3.5-acre catch-and-release fishing pond, a covered pavilion and cozy seating area. This retreat’s 3.5-acre fishing pond includes The Fish Shack — perfect for pulling in the kids’ first catch, enjoying dusk on the dock, or taking a walk through the nature trails. The Hideaway uses its natural and breathtaking beauty to give you a relaxing getaway away from the hustle and bustle.

From picturesque festoon lighting overhead to comfortable Adirondack chairs and hammocks, to a spacious picnic area and a covered pavilion with a variety of seating options, residents can relax and enjoy community all beneath a canopy of beautiful, aged trees.

Wildridge’s new Hideaway joins the community’s other popular amenities including: The Haven amenity center with pool, wading area, outdoor pavilion, grilling station and an open fireplace; Echo Park large soccer field for outdoor sports; water crafts (canoe and paddle boards) and bike rentals for residents to explore in and around Lake Lewisville; Pioneer Park Playground which is home to a natural playscape for the children; The Nook, a smaller secluded park with a fully-sticked catch-and-release fishing pond; and The Preserve, home to 50 acres of land owned by the Army Corp of Engineers featuring trails and trees available for exploration by residents.
