First opened in 1955 and surrounded by 9,000 protected acres of nature, Lewisville Lake spans 29,592 acres and has 233 miles of shoreline that includes Wildridge. There are marinas for boat and personal watercraft rentals and access, including the Oak Point Boat Ramp.

Wildridge is mere miles away from many different premier shopping destinations, like Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, The Shops at Legacy in Plano, Legacy West, Allen Premium Outlets, and Galleria Dallas.
